For several years now the pleated shade had been replaced by the honeycomb shade. But now they’re making a comeback. We have just received our new Hunter Douglas pleated shade book and there are a lot of new fabrics and styles to choose from.
The pleated shade has the look of a honeycomb but for about 20% less. They fold up and away tightly and operate very smoothly. Just in the past week we’ve installed pleated shades in two homes. One job was a Comfortex pleated and the other was from our new Hunter Douglas pleated shade line.
